Seattle Fireplace

We  completed a fireplace enhancement that showcases our dedication to custom woodworking and detail-oriented renovations. The project centered around the creation and installation of a unique cedar mantle, complemented by new tiling. Key features include:

• Custom-crafted 7-foot cedar mantle from a live edge slab:

  • Epoxy fill to enhance the wood's natural character

  • Extensive sanding to achieve a smooth, refined surface

  • Application of a clear finish to protect and highlight the wood's beauty

• Installation of new tile surrounding the fireplace opening

 

This project showcases our skill in transforming raw materials into stunning focal points. The meticulous process of preparing the live edge slab - from epoxy filling to the labor-intensive sanding and finishing - demonstrates our commitment to quality craftsmanship. By pairing this bespoke mantle with fresh tiling, we've created a harmonious and visually striking fireplace area that enhances the overall aesthetics of the space.
